I made a sandcastle by myself it was hard to dig and it was so much fun. Our class had  fun like me and it was hot and we had a hotdog . It was yum to eat.

Water Safety

We did water safety with Whaea Rhonda. We learnt how to do a huddle when you are cold and a chain for safety.

Why did I choose this book to blog about?

I think that this is a tricky book.  The man tricked the lady with a stone.  

What did I enjoy about it?

The lady said she had no food.  but he told her he had a special stone that can make soup. But he was he was fibbing. The lady did have food.

What did you learn from reading the text?

The man is very clever.

Camp 2020

Te Manga and Te Tinana went on camp at the Coopers beach youth camp.

At our Camp 2020 I liked the beach and movie that we watched.

When we were on the obstacle course we did a spider wall and I got over the climbing wall like I was sitting on a horse.

Number Knowledge

At the beginning of the year I was working on numbers to 100. During the lockdown I was working on numbers to 1000. Now I am working on numbers to 10,000. I can skip count in 2's, 5's and 10's to 100.

I can find halves to 20 using counters. 

I know the fractions 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5 and 1/6.

I know how to create a book on Book Creator. I saw the waka Ngātokimatawhaoroa and Kupe holding his padde. The best part of the trip that I enjoyed was wearing the VR glasses.

My Speech - Kids Should Play Sport

2. Kids should play sports because it makes them feel better. It will stop them being lazy and grumpy.

3. Kids should play sports and eat healthy food to grow strong and do more sports. They will do it well if they are healthy.

4. If kids play sports they will make new friends. You can play with your friends and ask them to come and play with you. You can have friends at home to play outside or you can play basketball with them at school.

5. All the kids need to play sports. I love to play basketball and I do athletics. It helps me to get
more energy out and I can concentrate better too.

I went to the lego shop and bought a lot of lego. I went to buy more but it was $30. It was fun to make. It took  a long time to finish. It took 55 minutes. I made a dinosaur and it was hard to break the lego. I went ice skating and I falled over a lot. It was cold. I did it all by myself without a trolley.
